Boosters meeting 06/03/10

Due to holiday schedule the Boosters announcement will post late. So in case you are wondering, the next Boosters meeting is this Thursday @ 6pm @ First Pres. It will be a meeting for those folks that are interested in working on the Block Party. I really want to pump up the party up this year so I would like to see a good turn out.  We will not have a July Boosters meeting as it is so close to the holiday. I am also  hoping to have something different for Boosters meeting in August, I will announce this @ a later date. 
Hope everyone had a great holiday week-end. The fireworks last night were great and the bands weren't too loud, all in all I think it was a great Riverfest.

Riverfest

As we all know this is Riverfest Weekend. Put out your cones, turn on your outside lights, turn up your music & fans if you feel the need to drowned out the music or join in all the fun & have a blast this Memorial Day week-end. Some of us will be working but for those that are not working have a great & safe  holiday!

Be patient

We have had some technical difficulties but we are trying to iron them out, so please be patient with us. I am not a techy so I am having problems blending this blog with my spouses blog, so if you see a "post" from Bob it is probably a mistake. We will keep plugging away!!

Peabody Roof top party

I don't know if you guys heard but the Peabody has resumed the rooftop parties on Friday nights!! If you didn't hear them last night then you were either out or in a coma. Well someone near & dear to my heart called & spoke with the Manager during their party; she actually went & turned the music down! I couldn't believe it! Man did I sleep better. The moral of the story is call & ask for the general manager on that night & complain, she will see to it that the music is turned down!

CAW is the largest public water supplier in the state of Arkansas and serves the Greater Little Rock-North Little Rock area. The water commissioners have full and complete authority to manage, operate, improve, extend and maintain the water works and distribution system and have full and complete charge of the water plan. The governing board consists of seven members who serve seven-year terms. In accordance with Ark. Code Ann. § 25-20-301, the Board must consist of four residents of Little Rock and three residents of North Little Rock. The current vacancy is for a North Little Rock representative. Pending Road construction

First News Tip:

The “Road Construction Ahead” signs That were put up in the neighborhood on Thursday are for the repaving of Broadway. My source said that they will mill it and repave it within the next 30 days, but then it is the Highway Department.

Hello Argenta

Hey guys- this is my first post so bear w/ me. I am not much of a blogger & by no means near the perfection of Scott Miller! Kudos to Scott!! But, I was tired of not having a source for info in the neighborhood & not being able to reach out or obtain info quickly. I don't know if anyone else feels the same so I thought what the heck, let's give this a whirl. As president of Boosters I am reaching out to you, the residents of Argenta, to see how you feel.
