Apologies

I want to apoligize for not posting more on the blog. This holiday season has been particularly busy for us, we have had out of town company, work & family illness but I am hopeful that things are returning to normal. My Mom is on the mend, my sons will be going home next week, I should be over my cold soon & I have 5 days off next week in order to recover!
Happy New Year's Argenta, may it be a wonderful year for you all.

Eric Francis

Check out the latest edition of the "Arkansas Times". Argenta's own Eric Francis has written a very complimentary article about Argenta for their special on unique neighborhoods in central Arkansas. As always Eric did a great job! Thank you Eric!

This just in from neighborhood services:

This morning, several customers contacted the North Little Rock Electric Department informing them that someone was placing calls to NLR Electric Customers identifying themselves as an Electric Department employee and asking for debit or credit card information.

The North Little Rock Electric Department will NEVER ask for debit or credit card information over the phone. If you receive a call from someone identifying themselves as an Electric Department employee threatening to turn your service off, attempt to obtain the callers number and immediately report the call to the NLR Electric Department and the NLR Police Department.

  • fyi: from a CityGrove person

    Hi Neighbors.
Last Friday someone attempted several times to kick open our front door between 8:30 & 9:00 PM while we were home. It was loud enough that Brent in the unit beside us heard it. Luckily, they weren’t successful and the door, frame and deadbolt held.
We filed a police report on Saturday when we saw the foot prints on our door. The police will be patrolling our neighborhood more often at night & asked that I share the following with all of you.
    · Crime is increasing this time of year because of the holiday season & that it’s darker earlier.
    · Consider leaving on your porch light & ground floor outdoor light by the sliding glass doors at night. This will deter break ins & increase visibility.
    · If you see any suspicious people or activity around the townhomes, call the police.
    · If you hear your neighbor’s alarm going off for more than a few seconds (a false alarm), call the police.

    Argenta Break-in

It has been reported to me that there was a break-in on the 700 block of Willow this afternoon. Apparently, the back door was the source of entry & yes, property was stolen. Please be careful this holiday season, secure your home, get an alarm, adopt a dog or a man eating, disease causing goose, depending on how you feel about THAT issue, in order to protect your home. All humor aside this is a serious issue & one that warrents us watching. PLease make friends with your neighbors, leave lights & TV's on when not at home and don't put it on a social network site when you are going out of town. We want everyone to have a safe & happy holiday.
