The Doctor is In ... Argenta

The UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Envoys advocacy group invites you to a Nov. 3 reception to meet some of our newest physicians, learn about the Cord Blood Bank of Arkansas from medical director Michele Fox, M.D., and share our excitement as we announce the first recipient of the $10,000 Seeds of Science grant award.

The reception will be 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3 at Greg Thompson Fine Art, 429 Main St., in the Argenta Arts District of North Little Rock.

There is no cost to attend and the event is open to the public.

The Cord Blood Bank of Arkansas opened this year. It is the first statewide-coverage cord blood bank in the nation to open with a mandate for public, private and research banking. Umbilical cord blood is collected following the birth of healthy children.

NOTE: Tonight is Boosters so you could come to Boosters & still make this reception!
