The public is invited to attend a North Little Rock history book chat with author Cary Bradburn at the Hays Senior Citizens Center on Thursday, December 2 from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m.
In time for holiday gift giving, the North Little Rock History Commission is offering Bradburn's book, "On the Opposite Shore: The Making of North Little Rock," for just $15.00. Published in 2004, the hardback book is handsomely bound with 288 pages with 160 photographs that tell the story of North Little Rock from its earliest settlers to the modern era and visions for decades to come.
For more information about the December 2 history exhibit and book chat, contact the North Little Rock History Commission at 371-0755.
