If you read my earlier post regarding the fund raising effort for Tayler Lee you will remember the deadline for the T.V. drawing was Feb.20th. Tayler has decided to extend the time in which to purcahse tickets so they have pushed up the drawing to April 1st. You will now have more time to purchase tickets, help Tayler & possibly win a new 42" Flat screen T.V. Please see contact info as listed below & Good Luck!
Argenta residents Linda, and her son Broderick, Alexander have a family member that is trying to raise funds for a “People to People International Exchange Program” for student ambassadorship to Australia in 2011.
Linda’s granddaughter, Tayler Lee, is a 9th grader at Clarendon high School in Clarendon, AR. Tayler is very excited and optimistic about this life changing opportunity. The individuals selected for this program must be strong of character and academically sound.
One of the conditions of the program is that the candidate has to raise funds for her trip and Tayler is currently seeking financial sponsors. To help her reach her goal Tayler’s church members have donated a 42” Flat Screen T.V. for raffle. The tickets are $2.00 each or a booklet for $20.00. The drawing is now April 1st.
